01 / WHAT WE HAUL

Anything that ships dry

Full truckload means your freight fills a whole dry van: one pickup, one delivery, nothing added on the way. It suits anything that needs neither a set temperature nor an open deck.

02 / WAYS TO BOOK

Spot, contract or a trailer at your dock

Book one truck for one load, or set up a lane that runs every week. The same dispatcher handles either.

03 / WHAT'S INCLUDED

One truck, your freight only

Every FTL load comes with the same six things. No upsell tiers, no "premium tracking" add-on.

04 / EQUIPMENT

Tell us the load. We’ll match the truck.

Not sure what you need? Send the dimensions and weight, and dispatch will match the equipment.

05 / WHEN FTL MAKES SENSE

Full truckload or LTL

A whole truck is not always the cheaper option. It usually wins in these four cases.

  1. 01

Around 10 to 12 pallets or more

Past that point a whole truck often costs less per pallet than LTL.

  2. 02

Freight that should not be handled twice

No terminals and no transfers. The trailer is sealed at your dock and opened at theirs.

  3. 03

    A deadline

One pickup and one delivery, so the transit time is predictable.

  4. 04

    No temperature needed

Fresh produce, frozen food and pharma go in a reefer instead.

07 / WHAT SETS THE PRICE

Your rate depends on four things

Detention and layover terms are written on the rate confirmation before the truck is booked.

Freight ready to go?

Send the ZIP codes, the pickup date and the pallet count. A dispatcher replies with a rate.

10 / FTL QUESTIONS

Straight answers

Don’t see yours? Add it to your quote request and a dispatcher will reply.

What do you need for a truckload quote?

Pickup and delivery ZIP codes, the pickup date, the pallet count and total weight, and whether either dock works by appointment. That's enough for a rate.

What is full truckload (FTL) shipping?

Full truckload means one shipper's freight fills a whole 53' dry van: one pickup, no terminal transfers, straight to the consignee. It often makes sense from around 10 to 12 pallets, or whenever the freight should not be handled on the way.

When is full truckload cheaper than LTL?

There is no fixed line. It moves with the lane, the season and your freight class. Somewhere around 10 to 12 pallets a whole truck often starts to win on price per pallet, and it is faster because nothing is transferred. If you're close, ask for both and we'll price them side by side.

How far ahead should I book a truck?

One to three days ahead covers most lanes out of the Bay. Book earlier during produce season and the holiday peak, when trucks get tight. Same-day loads are possible, but the rate reflects it.

Can you do same-day pickup in the Bay Area?

Often, yes, if the freight is ready and we hear from you in the morning. Send the pickup window and dispatch tells you right away whether a truck can make it.

What if the truck is late to my dock?

You hear it from us before the appointment, not after. Your dispatcher calls with the new ETA, and if the carrier can't recover the time, we move the load to another truck.

Who pays detention and layover?

Detention and layover terms are written on the rate confirmation before the truck is booked. If the delay is on the carrier's side, you don't pay it. If it happens at a dock, we log the times so the charge is clear.

Can I get the same truck every week?

Yes. For regular lanes we set up dedicated capacity: the same carrier and pickup window every week at a rate agreed in advance. Spot loads are always available on top.
